Archived Geodetic Data - NAD27 and NGVD29

Archived information and coordinate values of monuments of the Albuquerque Geodetic Reference System (AGRS) expressed in the older North American Datum of 1927 (NAD27) and the National Geodetic Vertical Datum of 1929 (NGVD29) can be retrieved through the link on this page.

Please realize that this data is only being provided for historical data reconstruction purposes and, is not provided for positioning of any projects being done for the City of Albuquerque or submitted to the City of Albuquerque in which the initial field work is started after the City transferred the horizontal and vertical datums of the AGRS to the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83) and the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88).

For any purpose other than projects in which the initial field work was started before the City transferred the horizontal and vertical datums to NAD83 and NAVD88, the following caveats apply:

1. The City of Albuquerque will no longer accept positioning done from the NAD27 or the NGVD29 coordinate values of any of these monuments.
2. The City of Albuquerque will also not be responsible for any damages resulting from positioning using the coordinate values on these datasheets.
3. These data sheets are only being released for historical data reconstruction purposes and not for contemporary positioning.

Currently the Albuquerque Geodetic Reference System (AGRS) is being expressed relative to the North American Datum of 1983 (NAD83) and the North American Vertical Datum of 1988 (NAVD88). Coordinate values and other information about the the AGRS expressed in these newer datums can be accessed through "Street Map" and "Geodetic Control" links on the City website at http://www.cabq.gov/gis/
