Albuquerque is home to several cultural and community events celebrating Día de los Muertos, or "Day of the Dead."
With roots in the Mexican festival of the same name, Albuquerque's Día de los Muertos celebration has grown in popularity each year. Traditions of Mexican immigrants are being revived, and the cycle of life is celebrated.

Marigold Parade
One of the gems of this holiday is the annual South Valley Dia de los Muertos Celebration and Marigold Parade.
This year's parade is held Sunday, Nov. 4.
The route starts at the intersection of Centro Familiar and Isleta SW and ends at the West Side Community Center. View parade route.
