Firefighter cadet (20 weeks) $10.46 per hour (based on a 40 hour workweek)
Paramedic Firefighter Cadet (20 weeks) $17.34 per hour (based on a 40 hour workweek)
Probationary Firefighter (1 year) $10.71 per hour (based on a 56 hour workweek)
Probationary Paramedic Firefighter (1 year) $12.38 per hour (based on a 56 hour workweek)
Firefighter 1/C $16.73 per hour (based on a 56 hour workweek)

Work Hours
Duty hours for Albuquerque Firefighters are 48 hours in duration. There are three shifts (A, B, C). Each works one 48-hour shift with four days off between shifts. Work hours differ for personnel assigned to support functions.
