The Tour of Duty is a relay run across America to pay tribute to victims of 09/11, including the 411 emergency service personnel that lost their lives.

The run is also to raise money for several charitable organizations, including the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation. The tour began in Los Angeles, CA on August 12, 2010 and will end on September 11, 2010 in New York at the site of the World Trade Center.

Fire and Law Enforcement personnel from the U.S. and Australia are participating in this tour. The tour includes three groups of twelve runners that run in six hour shifts.
