AFD vs. APD: Pizza-Eating Contest

Two public safety agencies battle over who can eat the most pizza while supporting a good cause.

The strongest guts in the Albuquerque Fire Department and the Albuquerque Police Department square off to settle that age-old question, who can stomach the most pizza in 10 minutes?

At 2 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 7, 2013, willing Albuquerque fire fighters and police officers sit down for the battle of bellies at Pizza 9, 5305 Gibson SE.

In support of the event, Pizza 9 is donating $200 to the Albuquerque Area Firefighter Random Acts.

Cheer your favorite Albuquerque public safety team and support a good cause.

About Albuquerque Area Firefighters Random Acts

Firefighters Random Acts is a 501(c)3 charity created by dedicated firefighters from the Albuquerque and Bernalillo County Fire Departments who truly believe that individuals can make a difference in our community.

Their purpose is to perform random acts of good in the Albuquerque area. Often, as firefighters respond to calls for help, firefighters observe situations where people need a helping hand or something that will improve their quality of life.

Random Acts look for opportunities to compassionately meet the needs of people and make a difference through our random acts of kindness.
