Event Request

Event Guidelines
Please Read Carefully

All requests are on a first come first serve basis. If your event is scheduled and special fire operations are set after your selected date, we will contact you to reschedule.

Important:

We do not attend career days, pre-schools or daycares, birthday parties, fall festivals, reunions, picnics or business grand openings. We don't spray down kids with water in the summer, fill dunk tanks or swimming pools. 

Station Tours

After 10:00 AM for morning station tours
After 1:00 PM for afternoon station tours 
Station tours are approximately one hour.

Do not Contact Individual Fire Stations

During Your Event – If a Call for Service - Should Occur Please Note:
• All fire stations are on an "available on radio" status during the event, which means that if they are dispatched, they have to respond to the emergency.
• If the crew is not at the station when you arrive, please wait, they may be back in 10-20 minutes.
• During a station tour, if crews receive a call for service, you will be escorted out of the station and to a safe place to watch the fire engine leave for the emergency.
• If for any reason your event is canceled or the crew is not at the station, the tour can be rescheduled at a later date.

To set up a Fire station tour please list the number of children, date, time, requested station and your contact information to melissaromero@cabq.gov

Requests for a fire prevention speaker for Elementary schools and businesses, call the Fire Marshal's Office at 505-764-6300.
