Health and Social Services Centers provide, as a community focal point, services to meet the health, education, and social service needs of the community.
The Health and Social Service Centers work in partnership with community organizations to assist families in becoming self-sufficient and to bring about positive quality of life changes in the community.
The City of Albuquerque initiated this partnership program, leasing office space and clinic space to the agencies at a below-market rate, and providing additional services.
The City of Albuquerque provides additional services to low and moderate income residents in the form of emergency food, clothing, and utility and rental assistance, primarily on a "one-time" basis as funding is available. Personal identification or referrals are required in order to receive assistance.
