A New Request for Proposal will be Released Wednesday, January 23, 2019

NOTICE OF REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR LEGAL SERVICES

The City of Albuquerque’s Department of Family and Community Services, hereby requests

innovative and effective proposals from qualified non-profit organizations interested in providing services for populations in need of legal advice on landlord/tenant issues and information on local services to access affordable housing. 

The Department will allocate up to $75,000 to provide services that inform and advise landlords, tenants and property managers about their respective rights, responsibilities and protections under laws such as the New Mexico Uniform Owner-Resident Relations Act and other regulations related to Fair Housing.

Complete copies of the Request for Proposals packets will be available beginning Wednesday, January 23, 2019, between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., at the City of Albuquerque, Department of Family and Community Services, 5th floor, Room 504, Old City Hall, One Civic Plaza, Albuquerque, NM 87102.  The RFP can also be accessed on the Department’s website at: https://www.cabq.gov/family/partner-resources/request-for-proposals/  on Wednesday, January 23, 2019.

Respondents must submit their proposals prior to 4:00 p.m. local time, Tuesday, February 19, 2019.  Proposals may be hand delivered to the Office of the City Clerk, Plaza del Sol; 600 2nd Street NW, 7th Floor, Albuquerque, New Mexico; or they may be mailed to Office of the City Clerk, P.O. Box 1293, Albuquerque, NM 87103.  The City will not consider proposals received after 4:00 p.m. Tuesday, February 19, 2019.
