Our Program

The City of Albuquerque has four Health and Social Services Centers: Alamosa, East Central, John Marshall, and Los Griegos—one located in each quadrant of the city.

These Centers were designed to encourage the co-location of public and private non-profit providers of social and health services in the neighborhoods where their client populations live. They were conceived as "one-stop-shops" for the convenience of low to moderate income residents needing these services.

Services

The services offered by the health and social service agencies are available to any eligible residents of the State of New Mexico. Fees are based on income eligibility, insurance, or a sliding fee scale.

The City of Albuquerque initiated this partnership program, leasing office space and clinic space to the agencies at a below-market rate, and providing additional services.

The City of Albuquerque provides additional services to low and moderate income residents in the form of emergency food, clothing, and utility and rental assistance, primarily on a "one-time" basis as funding is available. Personal identification or referrals are required in order to receive assistance.

Center staff also provides activities and seasonal services, and most Centers have meeting space available for the use of neighborhood and community groups.

For further information, please speak to a Program Specialist at any one of our four Centers.
