High Desert Pipes and Drums formed 19 years ago with the mission of bringing Scottish Bagpipe music to New Mexico. Now, through the direction of Pipe Major Bill Horn and Drum Sergeant Daron Peters, they enjoy a statewide following and a worldwide reputation that includes becoming the first pip and drum band from the U.S. to be named Grade 4 World Champions.
