Indie Q

Indie Q is an e-mail distribution list and networking group of local, independent filmmakers that was started by the Albuquerque Film Office in January 2009. The Indie Q group typically meets the third Wednesday of every other month to discuss the local film climate, network with each other and to discuss the occasional screening of shorts and works-in-progress. It is open to anyone who is interested in making movies. It is comprised of local actors, producers, animators, screenwriters, directors and general fans of film.

Meetings

Indie Q meetings are typically held the third Wednesday of every other month from 6pm - 8pm. The meeting location varies. There is no cost to attend.

INDIE Q at the KiMo - NEW!

The Albuquerque Film Office in conjunction with the City of Albuquerque Cultural Services Department and The KiMo Theatre present, INDIE Q at the KiMo. Join us every other month (non-Indie Q meeting months) for free productions of locally-made films. Doors open at 6:30PM and the screenings start at 7:00PM. Popcorn and drinks will be sold by the KiMo (cash only).
