The City of Albuquerque Economic Development Department has created a business resource center in City Hall designed to help make the daunting task of starting and growing a business easier. It will be a clearinghouse of local business information and resources.
The center staff will provide referrals and assistance, as well as offer business training programs, seminars and job fairs. Another very important function of the center, will be to act as a liaison with other City departments. Business owners may still have to navigate city government, but the center staff will act as a guide.
The ABC offers various resources for local businesses.
In the center you will find information from various partner organizations, a library with various business reference books, computer stations and much more.
The center is equipped with two computer stations that you can use to register your business, sign up as a City vendor, conduct research and access various electronic business resources. Additionally, the computers will provide access to a virtual library of business publications.
The ABC will also conduct and sponsor various training programs for local businesses. See the calendar section below for more information.
Additional services and resources will be offered, so check the ABC webpage often or keep up to date via our Facebook and Twitter pages (see bottom of page for links).
Visit the New Mexico Business and Community Development Calendar for information on local business events.
