Voters can now apply for an Absentee Ballot for the Nov. 19, 2013, runoff and special election.

Absentee ballots for the Nov. 19, 2013, runoff and special election are available through Nov. 15.

Rules: Special Election Absentee Ballot

Be sure to review these important guidelines about Absentee Ballots for the 2013 Runoff & Special Election:

  • Important - Absentee Ballots are only available to voters registered within Albuquerque city limits.
    Check your eligibility for an Absentee Ballot.
  • Voters must completely fill out and sign the applications. Incomplete applications are rejected and sent back to the voter for correction and return to the City Clerk.
  • Absentee Ballots will begin to mail on Oct. 23, 2013. Absentee ballots are no longer issued on Nov. 15, 2013.
  • It is strongly recommended that voters return Absentee Ballot applications to the City Clerk as early as possible.

  • Absentee Ballots aren't accepted at Early or Election Day Voting Centers. Hand-delivered ballots must be returned to the City Clerk.
