Grammy-winner kicks off "Go Wild" Benefit Concert Series
The New Mexico BioPark Society presents Grammy-winning reggae star Ziggy Marley in concert, Monday, July 9 as part of their "Go Wild" concert series.
Ziggy is the son of legendary reggae icon Bob Marley, and front man of Ziggy Marley and The Melody Makers. His group has released eight best-selling albums with such chart-topping hits as "Look Who's Dancing", "Tomorrow People" and "Tumbling Down." In 2003, Ziggy achieved worldwide success with the release of his first solo album Dragonfly, followed by his 2006 Grammy-winning album Love is My Religion.
Gates open at 7:00 p.m., and the concert starts at 8:00 p.m. Advance tickets are $30, and $35 day of show. Tickets are available online at www.GoWildConcerts.com or from any ABQ BioPark cashier. Guests may bring blankets, picnics and folding chairs. Food and drinks will be available for purchase. No outside alcohol or glass is permitted.
All proceeds benefit the ABQ BioPark; Zoo, Aquarium, Botanic Garden and Tingley Beach.
