We are “Wild About Animals” at the ABQ BioPark Zoo! We invite you to celebrate the Zoo’s 85th Birthday by drawing your favorite Zoo animal and entering our contest.
Requirements
- The contest theme is Wild about Animals.
- Drawings must be of animals at the ABQ BioPark Zoo.
- Artwork must be on paper or a thin canvas panel.
- Medium can be pencils, pens, markers, crayons, paints or computer-generated art. No photography. (Photographers should check out our Online Photo Contest!)
- Maximum size: 18” x 24”

- Ages 9 – 14
- Ages 15 and older
Submission
Turn in your artwork with a completed entry form to the Zoo’s Front Office or mail it to us with the entry form below. Artwork will not be returned. Deadline for entry is Monday, September 3, 2012.

Winners
A judging panel will select winners from each age group and a grand prize winner.
Winners will be notified by phone and/or email by Monday, September 17.
Winning entries will be displayed at the Zoo and prizes include annual memberships, Zoo-themed gift baskets and more!
By submitting artwork, you give the ABQ BioPark permission to use it. The permission includes, but is not limited to, publication by the BioPark in printed materials, television broadcasts, web sites and internal communications. You will not be compensated for such use. However, where reasonable, we will give you credit for the art.
