City, state and federal agencies, as well as local non-profits and businesses, will be on site to provide you with information about the many outdoor activities and events taking place in the local area over the summer.
The Get Outdoors New Mexico event is part of a national effort to encourage healthy, active lifestyles by connecting the American public with outdoor activities available on their local, state and national public lands. National statistics show that obesity rates among both youth and adults have tripled in the last 30 years.
