NO LICENSE REQUIRED FOR THIS DAY ONLY! All fishing-folks are invited to come out to Tingley Beach for National Free Fishing Day on Saturday!
Free fly-fishing lessons for kids from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m. Children will be introduced to the exciting world of fly-fishing by BioPark Tingley Beach volunteers and New Mexico Trout experts. Hands-on experience with knot-tying, fly-making and casting will be part of this free instruction. Fishing supplies provided.
Visit education tables from 10 a.m. - 1 p.m.
All three fishing ponds are open, as usual, from sunrise to sunset.
