Taste the ABQ BioPark's Fall Harvest

Botanic Garden to host 4-course dinner with food fresh from its Heritage Farm.

Oct. 2, 2017 - Most people know the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden for its array of flowers, but the garden also farms dozens of edible crops, which it will showcase in a special dinner this month.

Tickets are now available for the Heritage Farm Harvest Dinner. The event will take place from 5-9 p.m. on October 14 at the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden's Heritage Farm.

"This event, which will take place after this year's Cider Festival, will showcase the bounty from the farm's fall harvest," said Adina Mora, catering sales manager for Taste at ABQ BioPark. "It will be a unique community dining experience you won't want to miss."

The meal will consist of starters at Chicken Coop Plaza. A four-course meal and dessert will follow at tables in the apple orchard. The event will also include a bourbon tasting with hors d'oeuvres. Many of the course selections have been grown at the Heritage Farm.
