Scuba Day at the ABQ BioPark

Join diving enthusiasts at the Aquarium to learn about the sport, enter raffle to dive in shark tank.
Feb. 12, 2020 - The ABQ BioPark will be bringing the sport of scuba to the middle of the desert during Scuba Day this February at the Aquarium.

The event runs from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on February 15. 

Attendees can learn about scuba classes and trips, and where to purchase equipment and supplies from local scuba companies.
Aquarium divers will also give a special narrated dive in the Shark Tank at 2 p.m.

"Albuquerque may be land-locked, but we have a strong community of scuba enthusiasts, nonetheless," said Rich Lerner, ABQ BioPark curator of fish. "We encourage anyone interested in scuba diving to come and learn more during this event."

Guests can enter for a grand-prize giveaway of a dive in the Aquarium's Shark Tank during the event. The winner must be scuba certified before redeeming their dive and dive must be redeemed within one year.
