"Like an Animal: The Grazing & Sex Tour" Registration Open

Visitors to Zoo's adults-only tour will browse and learn about the birds and the bees

The ABQ BioPark is giving a crash course on the birds and the bees, but this isn't what you learned in your high school biology class.

"Like an Animal: The Grazing and Sex Tour" will give visitors the low down on animal love from the life-long romances of condors and cranes to the breeding strategies of lion kings.

The two-hour tour takes place from 6-8 p.m. on April 15, 2017, at the Zoo and includes adult beverages and hearty appetizer stations along the tour route.

"Love is a complex dance, even in the animal kingdom," said Jo Pelhan, Zoo Education Specialist. "Our resident experts will divulge the details of the curious romantic rituals and strategies of animals."

This is a 21 years and older event.

Tickets are $50 per person and $45 for New Mexico BioPark Society members. Online registration here. Information about becoming a BioPark Society member can be found here: www.bioparksociety.org/main/memberships
