Halloween at the ABQ BioPark

Zoo Boo to offer safe, fun alternative to trick-or-treating.
10/16/17 - Halloween is just around the corner and the ABQ BioPark is getting spooky to celebrate the holiday.

The BioPark's annual Zoo Boo is back for its 29th year from 11 a.m.-4 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 28, at the ABQ BioPark Zoo.

The event will feature games, haunted habitats, costume contests and trick-or-treating at dozens of tables throughout the Zoo.

"As always, we're excited to offer this fun, safe alternative to trick-or-treating," said Maryann Torrez, ABQ BioPark operations and events supervisor. "Kids and parents will also have fun playing games and checking out our haunted habitats, which our zookeepers decorate every year for this special event."

Zoo Boo is included with regular zoo admission. Up to four children under the age of 12 in costume get in free with each paying adult. As usual, New Mexico BioPark Society members receive free admission for the adults and children on their pass - to qualify for the offer above, an adult must purchase a ticket.

The ABQ BioPark would like to thank Zoo Boo title sponsors Blake's Lotaburger, Walmart and Kiss 97.3 FM. The BioPark also thanks sponsors Coyote 102.5 FM, Yo! 105.1 FM, La Jefa 102.9 FM, Radio Lobo 97.7 FM and Big 98.5 FM.
