City of Albuquerque and New Mexico BioPark Society's River of Lights 2018 less than two weeks away

Tickets now available for New Mexico's largest walk-through holiday light show.
Nov. 13, 2018 - Tickets are now available for New Mexico's largest walk-through holiday light show, River of Lights.
Event organizers and a crew of 10 are busy planning and transforming the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden into a twinkling, holiday wonderland for the 22nd annual event, presented by Bank of Albuquerque.
River of Lights, shining nightly from 6-9:30 p.m., November 24 through December 30, is the largest special event fundraiser for the New Mexico BioPark Society (NMBPS), the non-profit support organization for the ABQ BioPark. The event accomplished a big milestone last year with a record-setting attendance of more than 128,000 guests.
"Over the past 22 years, River of Lights has become part of New Mexico's holiday fabric," said Taylor Pellegrini, NMBPS events director. "We are so honored when our guests tell us they attended as a child and now return with their children. New Mexicans take pride in our traditions and love to support all things local, and you can't get much more local than River of Lights!"
With guest numbers increasing over the last two years, it's no coincidence Bank of Albuquerque's presenting sponsor status and support has played a huge role in the success of this event.
"Bank of Albuquerque has been the presenting sponsor of River of Lights for three years now, and they truly share our personal values at a corporate level," said Pellegrini. "Together, we've been able to make the holidays a little bit brighter!"
