Camp BioPark Spaces Still Available

Campers in "Undersea Adventures" tour the top of the Shark Tank.

Spaces are still available for Camp BioPark at the Zoo, Aquarium, Botanic Garden and Tingley Beach this summer. Reserve your space today and let your child discover the wonderful plants and animals found across the globe.

"Our camps offer a unique and unforgettable summer experience for preschoolers on up through ninth graders," said Kathryn Venzor, BioPark Education Curator. "Not only do campers experience guided tours and hands-on activities, but many campers will meet our plants and animals up-close with behind-the-scenes tours and special staff-led demonstrations. It's a naturally amazing way to spend your summer!"

Half-day and full-day classes are available. Each week-long conservation camp is designed to engage students in hands-on learning about nature. Typical camp days include guided tours, indoor and outdoor activities, games, crafts and snack time (with lunch breaks for full-day camps). Students in grades 3 - 9 also experience a behind-the-scenes tour during the week.

Here are some of the classes with availability this summer:

  • K-1 - Discover the Zoo - Discover tiny frogs, enormous elephants and everything in between!
  • Grades 2-3 - It's a Bug's World - Hands-on activities & games about the weird, wild world of bugs.
  • Grades 4-6 - Diggable Planet - If you like good, messy fun, you'll dig this Botanic Garden camp!
  • Grades 7-9 - Earth Explorers - Become a biologist as we investigate everything that creeps, crawls, swims, flies and photosynthesizes!
