The summer concert season at Albuquerque's wildest outdoor venues--the Zoo and Botanic Garden--begins June 14.  The season features more than 20 performances, ranging from rock to reggae and country to Celtic.  With beautiful settings and talented musicians, the summer concerts promise enjoyable evenings for families and friends.

"People really enjoy the atmosphere at BioPark concerts," said Mayor Richard J. Berry.  "They come from all over just to relax and enjoy great music.  We are pleased to be able to offer these pleasant evenings for citizens and tourists."

Go Wild!

The Go Wild! Concerts, fundraisers for the Zoo, feature reggae legend Ziggy Marley on July 9 and pop/rock icons Colbie Caillat & Gavin DeGraw on August 8.

Zoo Music

Zoo Music plays each Friday from June 22 through August 10 on the Zoo bandshell.  Performances this year include the sizzling swing of Hot Club of Cowtown, a return of Celtic rock with The Elders, the rocking blues of Tommy Castro & the Painkillers and more.

Summer Nights

Summer Nights at the Botanic Garden on Thursdays, June 14-August 23, welcomes returning favorites Wagogo (world) and Trout Fishing in America (family/folk/pop), as well as first-time guests indie band Joy Kills Sorrow and eclectic performer Tony Furtado.  The Aquarium is also open on Thursday evenings.

Tickets

Tickets are available online, in-advance and at the door.  You may bring your own seating and food to each concert.  No glass or alcohol can be brought in.  Food and alcohol are available for purchase.  For pricing and other details, please visit www.abqbioparkmusic.com.
