Animal Love at ABQ BioPark

Visitors to Zoo's sex tour will learn about the birds and the bees (and lions and frogs).

April 17, 2018 - The ABQ BioPark is giving a crash course on the birds and the bees, but this isn't what you learned in your high school biology class.

"Like an Animal: The Grazing and Sex Tour" will give visitors the low down on animal love from the life-long romances of condors and cranes to the breeding strategies of lions.

The tour takes place from 5:30-7:30 p.m. on May 4 at the Zoo and includes adult beverages and hearty appetizer stations along the tour route.

"Love is a complex dance, even in the animal kingdom," said Cheri Vogel, ABQ BioPark curator of education. "Our resident experts will divulge the details of the curious romantic rituals and strategies of animals."

This is a 21 and older event.
