ABQ BioPark Offers Free Passes

Library card holders can now "check out" tickets to the Zoo, Aquarium and Botanic Garden

Albuquerque residents can now enjoy free admission to the ABQ BioPark - all they need is a public library card.

Starting Monday, library card holders can visit any Albuquerque Bernalillo County Library to check out a BioPark pass - good for two adults and two children - for a maximum of seven days. The ABQ BioPark is the newest partner in the Library's Museum Discovery Pass Program.

"We're thrilled to offer this opportunity to members of the Albuquerque community," said Rick Janser, ABQ BioParkDirector. "This is a great, affordable way for families to experience all that the Botanic Garden, Zoo and Aquarium have to offer."

Passes may not be renewed and are available on a first-come, first-served basis.

The ABQ BioPark passes will be available from Feb. 1-Dec. 31, 2016.
