Third Consecutive Year for Record-Breaking Numbers
The ABQ BioPark is once again the most visited destination in New Mexico, breaking its all-time attendance record for the third year in a row. During fiscal year 2012, which ended June 30, over 1,235,000 visitors experienced the exhibits, education programs and special events offered throughout the year.
New Mexico's Most Visited Destination
According to the Tourism Association of New Mexico, the BioPark welcomed more guests than any other tourist attraction in the state, including White Sands National Monument and Carlsbad Caverns National Park.
"We take pride in offering the best guest experience, which has resulted in record attendance for the last three years.
The beautiful scenery and exhibits, as well as the great programs and fun the BioPark provides, draws in people from all around."
Rick Janser, BioPark Director
