Description
Assistant Curator Maria Thomas hosts an herbal gift-making demonstration on Sunday, Feb. 10, from 2 – 3 p.m. in the Heritage Farmhouse. Learn how to create something special for someone you love (or for yourself!) with relaxing and romantic herbs, including lavender, rose, sandalwood and dittany.
Thomas will talk about the folklore of herbs associated with love and devotion while she shows how to make lip balm, massage oil and foot powder. Guests can take home recipes and samples, while supplies last.
Before the workshop, you can enjoy a special Valentine's Brunch at Shark Reef Cafe.
