National Public Gardens Day is for everyone who loves nature. The Botanic Garden marks the day with a special celebration that includes demonstrations, talks and giveaways.

Visitors can learn more about gardening, our environment, and how to grow plants and use water wisely. Special activities and demonstrations highlight the role that public gardens play in conservation and environmental stewardship in our communities.

Participate in activities including making koi kite and recycled notebooks, a community water color project and hands-on demonstrations. Bring your gardening questions too - horticulture staff will be onsite to talk with guests.
