Description
Kadomatsu are a Japanese New Year's tradition of pine and bamboo arrangements. These arrangements flank the gates of the BioPark's Japanese Garden through January 5.
Kadomatsu are said to attract beneficial spirits and are full of symbolism, representing virtues such as strength, flexibility, vitality and purity.
Visit the Botanic Garden to join in this 600-year-old Shinto tradition.
