Description

Connecting Culture and Conservation

Speakers: Maria Thomas, Botanic Garden Assistant Curator
and Tallie Segel, Education Coordinator

Discover how the Botanic Garden connects people to conservation. Stories and expertise from healers and botanists, the propagation of plant species, and celebrations of diversity and heritage all come together to enhance the relationship between people and plants.

Join the Maria and Tallie to discuss how the BioPark raises an appreciation for species in the Garden, and ultimately, cultivates a deeper understanding of conservation.

Brown Bag Lectures

This series of informal lunchtime lectures presents the science of conservation.  Brown Bag lectures take place twice a month on Thursdays and Saturdays, alternating between the Aquarium/Botanic Garden and the Zoo.
