Camp BioPark for Preschoolers
Camp BioPark offers summer adventures for children from preschool through grade 9. Learn more about Camps for Preschoolers for young children and accompanying adults.
Tingley Trekkers
Hike through Tingley Beach with Miss Ann and search for native wildlife!
Where: Tingley Beach
When: Thursdays, Sept. 26 - Nov. 14, 2013 from 9:30-11 a.m.
Ages: 4-6 (children must be accompanied by an adult)
Cost: $150 for one child and one adult. $75 for each additional child. Maximum three children per adult. NM BioPark Society Members receive a 10% discount.
Description
Each class includes games, music, crafts and active adventures. Look for wildlife in the Rio Grande and bosque, including marsh and stream habitats. Make and sail model boats on the Model Boat Pond and learn to fish at the Children’s Pond.
Activities are designed for ages 4-6 and are facilitated with active parent participation.

BioPark Beginnings
Explore nature at the BioPark with your child every Tuesday or Wednesday!
Where: Alternates between Zoo, Aquarium and Garden.
When: Tuesdays or Wednesdays from Sept. 10 - Dec. 4, 2013.
- Tuesday Sessions: 1-2:30 p.m.
- Wednesday Sessions: 9:30-11 a.m.
Ages: 3-6 (children must be accompanied by adult)

Description
Each weekly class includes songs, games, crafts and visits to the BioPark’s Zoo, Aquarium and Botanic Garden exhibits. Join preschool teacher, Miss Ann, as you explore the wonders of Tropical America, and learn all about triggerfish, toucans, jaguars and more!

About Miss Ann
Preschool Teacher Ann Gallegos brings more than thirty years of experience in elementary and early childhood education to the program. Her curriculum is specially designed to teach about each continent, plant and animal. Miss Ann is a dynamic and enthusiastic teacher who sparks imaginations and excites the senses of young students.
