Camps for Preschoolers

We have three fun options for preschoolers:

Farm Sprouts

Travel back in time one day a week at the Heritage Farm.

  • Ages: 3-5 years old
  • Cost: $130 for all seven classes. Price includes one child and one adult. Additional children are $65 each.
  • Where: Heritage Farm Exhibit at the Botanic Garden
  • When: Tuesdays, 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.
    • June 3, 10, 17, 24 and July 8, 15, 22

Pre-school children and accompanying adults find out first hand what a child’s life used to be like on a farm. Learn how to harvest berries, practice milking a cow, and watch tractors in the field. Every day includes songs, crafts and good old-fashioned fun and games.

Nature Beginnings

Explore the amazing world of animals and plants at the BioPark!

  • Ages: 3-6 years old
  • Cost: $130 for all seven classes. Price includes one child and one adult. Additional children are $65 each.
  • Where: Classes alternate between the Zoo, Aquarium/Garden and Tingley Beach
  • When: Wednesdays, 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.
    • June 4, 11, 18, 25 and July 9, 16, 23

Preschool children and one accompanying adult play games, create fun works of art, sing songs, and of course, visit the exhibits. Come take a peek in the ocean, watch a butterfly drink from a daisy, explore wildlife native to our backyard and discover animals from around the world.

Cottonwood Kids

  • Ages: 4-6 years old
  • Cost: $130 for all seven classes. Price includes one child and one adult. Additional children are $65 each.
  • Where: Cottonwood Gallery and Heritage Farm at the Botanic Garden
  • When: Thursdays, 9:30 a.m. - 11 a.m.
    • June 5, 12, 19, 26 and July 10, 17, 24

Preschool children and one accompanying adult will develop an awareness of trees, explore animal tracks, identify kinds of food wild animals eat, observe ant behavior, play games, sing songs, create art from nature and discover wildlife is everywhere in the bosque.  Classes will begin and end at the Cider Barn at the Botanic Garden’s Heritage Farm Exhibit.
