Albuquerque, NM 87102

Speaker and Topic:

Primate zookeeper, Jamie Ohrt, will share her experiences from a recent visit to Borneo, and share how she and the staff at the ABQ BioPark are working toward saving orangutans every day.

Bornean orangutan populations have declined by more than 50% over the past 60 years, and the species' habitat has been reduced by at least 55% over the past 20 years.

Join this talk to learn how you can help orangutans and their habitats from going extinct, as well as the hundreds of other species that depend on the animal’s existence.
