Aquarium Touchpool Volunteers
Touchpool volunteers facilitate the two interactive exhibits in the aquarium using a variety of marine animals including invertebrates, sharks, and stingrays, to teach visitors about marine life and conservation through hands-on learning opportunities.
Help visitors understand how our actions affect the health of the ocean and how we can protect this delicate ecosystem and its inhabitants.
No admission is required - when you arrive at the front gate, simply let the cashier know you are here for the orientation.
No specialized knowledge is necessary to become a volunteer. BioPark staff will teach you everything you need to know in the sessions. We ask that you bring your enthusiasm, a commitment to conservation, a sense of responsibility, and patience. Experienced volunteers and staff are available to assist you after orientation, and monthly volunteer meetings keep you up to date.
