Spring Japanese Garden Tours
SPECIAL HANAMI TOURS ARE AT 10 A.M. AND 11 A.M. ON WEDNESDAYS IN APRIL.
Customarily held in celebration of the birth of the Buddha, the Japanese flower festival Hana Matsuri marks the beginning of the flower blossom season (Hanami).
Join the BioPark for special tours to learn more about this traditional event. During Hanami, discover the history and design of the Japanese Garden. Enjoy the blossoms of the five varieties of flowering cherry trees and many other spring flowering plants.
Tours will meet at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. near the entrance to the Japanese Garden Exhibit.
Throughout the year, tours of the Japanese Garden exhibit are scheduled regularly on Wednesdays at 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. and Sundays at 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. Weekly tours are dependent on volunteer availability.
