Native Medicinal Plants of Central New Mexico 

Join Dara Saville, founder of Albuquerque Herbalism, for this introduction to the native medicinal plants of our local area. We’ll explore a few key plants found in classic landscapes of central New Mexico including mountain, foothill, desert, and riparian environments. Discussions include wild plant habitats, conservation issues, cultivation, harvesting, and medicinal uses. Dara will also have some herbal remedies on hand to sample.

Brown Bag Lectures

This series of informal lunchtime lectures presents the science of conservation. Brown Bag lectures take place twice a month on Thursdays and Saturdays, alternating between the Aquarium/BotanicGarden and the Zoo.
