Grape Pressing & Juice Sale
The public can get their hands on freshly pressed, local grape juice on Tuesday, Aug. 16, at the Heritage Farm, located at the ABQ BioPark Botanic Garden.
Attendees can watch grapes being pressed and bottled from 9 a.m. to noon in the Cider Barn, then purchase the juice from noon to 3 p.m.
The juice is $5 for a half gallon.
The grape juice is all natural (grapes are grown with no pesticides and the juice has no added ingredients) and made from the farm's table grapes (himrod, glenora and reliance grapes).
Grape juice will also be available for purchase at the admission booths in front of the Botanic Garden beginning Aug. 16. The juice will remain fresh Wednesday through Friday, and will be sold as "fresh frozen" after that.
