Floral Design Show
The High Desert Rose Garden’s indoor Atrium is the site for the Botanic Garden’s Floral Design Show, a show that will display the beauty of local floral designers. Featuring the work of sixteen New Mexico floral designers, the dramatic and lush floral art installations will be inspired by the four seasons. Vignettes include artistic pedestal displays, hanging and suspended installations, and various infrastructures to support large floral displays. Visitors will be inspired and enchanted by the creative and exuberant floral design representing the seasons of spring, summer, fall, and winter.
The design show will kick off with a special tasting event from 6-8 p.m. on April 6 with the BioPark's culinary partner, Service Systems Associates (SSA). The culinary event, which takes place at the High Desert Rose Garden atrium, will feature heavy Hors d'oeuvres including pork tenderloin with a blueberry reduction and a glass of beer or wine. Light refreshments, beer and wine cash bar are also available. Cost of the culinary event is $22 per person and tickets can be purchased here: http://holdmyticket.com/event/279254.
