Volunteer at the Museum During Balloon Fiesta

Volunteer With Us During The 2017 Balloon Fiesta

Please Note:

Most positions and shifts are filled, however, we still need theater ushers and cafe hosts for a variety of shifts, as well as shuttle cart drivers for evening shifts.

The Balloon Museum is directly adjacent to Balloon Fiesta Park, and we attract nearly 30,000 visitors during the annual Albuquerque International Balloon Fiesta®.

The Balloon Museum is currently recruiting volunteers to support our operations during Fiesta, and we invite you to join our team. For nine days each October, Albuquerque skies are painted with hundreds of hot-air balloons during the world's largest ballooning event. Join us as a volunteer and have the best view of Fiesta!

Steps to Volunteer at the Balloon Museum during Fiesta

  1. Fill out General Volunteer Information Form.
  2. Sign up for shifts (days/times) and duties (listed below).
  3. Sign up for an orientation session (training). These sessions are scheduled for September 16 through October 2 and are organized according to various duties. You need only attend the session or sessions that pertain to the duties you sign up for.
