Live science presentations for young people combined with Balloon Museum tours.
Why have bubbles and balloons inspired awe in young children for hundreds of years? The answer lies somewhere between science, math and joy. And why do bubbles have to pop? Young learners discover the wonder of bubbles and balloons like a scientist. Observe and test the actions of balls of air at this fun and beautiful presentation with Curator of Education, Laurie Magovern. Explore the elements of surface tension, gravity, shape and more.
All presentations start at 10 a.m. followed by a tour of the museum. All Science in the Sky presentations are open to the public and groups.
