The Balloon Pilot’s Perspective for grades 3-5

Learn the pilot’s perspective with the RE/MAX Hot-Air Balloon and world record holding pilot, Troy Bradley. Discover the parts of a balloon and the dynamics of flight, and elements of weather. Will the hot-air balloon fly the day you visit the Balloon Museum? You tell us, after you help test equipment, weight and weather. Either way, you’ll leave with new appreciation for the complexities of Albuquerque’s most famous sport.

Presentation and Inflation is outdoors. Please dress in warm clothing.

All presentations start at 10 a.m. followed by a tour of the museum. All Science in the Sky presentations are open to the public and groups.

Title I & Charter Schools please inquire about Flying Bus, the Balloon Museum Foundation’s bus and admission subsidy program.

All activities are included with regular museum admission.
