The first balloonists to cross the Atlantic Ocean were the crew of Double Eagle II. In 1978, pioneering Albuquerque aeronauts Maxie Anderson, Ben Abruzzo, and Larry Newman accomplished what no other had achieved.

To commemorate the 40th anniversary of their historic, record-setting flight, we are pleased to offer a free lecture on Saturday, August 11.
