Description
In this workshop, students of UNM's "Creating Change 2.0" course will teach you to assemble a solar-powered toy. We will learn the benefits of solar energy and some basic electronics and building skills. Together, we will then "hack" the toys by taking apart, modifying, and re-tooling each one to make a new object of your own creation. All materials will be provided. This workshop is recommended for ages 9 and up. Seating first come, first served.
Price
Admission is $4 for adults, $3 for NM Residents, $2 for Seniors, and $1 for Children 4-12. Children 3 and under are free. The Museum is also free Sunday mornings before 1 pm, and the first Wednesday of every month.
