Second Saturday at Casa San Ysidro: New Mexico’s Farmers Past and Present
On the Second Saturday of the month, Casa San Ysidro is open from 1-4 p.m.
At 1:30 p.m. author Linda Tigges shares stories from her new book Spanish Colonial Lives: Documents from the Spanish Colonial Archives of New Mexico, 1705-1774. Ms. Tigges and Richard Salazar, who translated the documents into English, will hold a book sale and signing following the talk. Families can enjoy fun activities throughout the afternoon while learning about early-day farmers and their tools. Co-sponsored by the El Camino Real de Tierra Adentro Trail Association (CARTA).
