Dave Hoover is a self taught multi-instrumentalist, composer and artist.  His primary instrument is the Celtic Harp, which he has been playing for over ten years.  He has participated in the Arts in Medicine program at the University of New Mexico Hospital for the past four years where music brings peace and healing to patients, families and staff.  He draws inspiration from a wide variety of musical genres, from east to west, and ancient to modern.  His instrument collection is steadily growing, partly due to the fact that he makes many, including flutes as well his Kora.  He is now working on an electric harp, and plays the Celtic Harp, Dulcimer, Gu Zheng, Mandolin, Guitar, Bass, Kalimba, Percussion, Banjo, Kora, Erhu, Keyboards, Hammered Dulcimer, Flutes, Sitar, and others
