Description
At 11 a.m., join Andrew Connors, Curator of Art and artist Ema Tanigaki for a talk in the exhibition, Deco Japan: Shaping Art and Culture, 1920-1945. Tanigaki is an Albuquerque artist who was born in Japan. She creates vessels and jewelry from metal that combine sculptural, weaving and croquet techniques. Her work is currently for sale in the Gallery Store.
From 12:30- 3 p.m., see origami demonstrations in the lobby by the Albuquerque Origami Society. This program is free.
