Description

Join us for a three part series of films in conjunction with the exhibition, Christo and Jean Claude: The Tom Golden Collection, by acclaimed documentary filmmakers, Albert and David Maysles (Gimme Shelter, Grey Gardens). This month’s featured film, Islands, showcases the artists’ project to surround eleven scrub-pine islands with 6.5 million square feet of bright pink fabric in the Biscayne Bay, Florida. A three-year struggle, a work of art; and a political drama were interwoven with two other projects-in-progress.

Admission to the Albuquerque Museum is free on the first Wednesday of every month.
