Through performances, art and gallery activities in the exhibition, Native American Bolo Ties: Vintage and Contemporary Artistry, families explore the art and heritage of artists who create these stunning bolo ties. At 3 p.m. enjoy a performance by storyteller Sunny Dooley (Diné) telling “summer stories” featuring the birds of summer. This program is free. Dooley’s performance is made possible by the New Mexico Humanities Council and the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs.
