From 2 - 5 p.m. each Saturday the museum presents live musical entertainment for your pleasure.
Cuba Pacha imitates Cuban acoustic instruments using only his mouth, in the style made famous by a capella artist Bobby McFerrin. A chemical engineer from Cuba, Pacha first heard McFerrin in 2005, and it changed his life. He started airing his Cuban vocal innovations at clubs around Santa Fe, where he moved in 2008, as Cuba Pacha.
Raised on Cuban street music, Cuba Pacha internalized the Afro-Cuban sounds that have been the rage stateside since The Buena Vista Social Club.
Admission and parking are free.
Slate at the Museum offers fantastic menu and drink specials.
